Braille e-Reader

I just came across a picture of a braille e-reader. For half a second I thought “April Fools” but not so. The concept relies on electroactive polymers in order to change the surface’s shape as pages are turned. It’s a technology that can dynamically change the surface pattern by way of an electromagnetic signal–simulating braille text.
